Description
The Salmon with Eagle head plaque was hand-carved and painted by Nanoose artist, Brian Bob. It is made out of cedar with paua shell inlays. One has a purple/blue semi translucent metallic sheen and the other has a blue semi translucent metallic sheen.
Salmon is the giver of life, prosperity, and new beginnings.

Brian Bob is a member of the Nuu-chah-nulth (Nootka) First Nation on Vancouver Island. His given name is Qquyutsapool which means "Policer of the wolves". Brian is known for his wood creations, truly keeping the tradition of his peoples in mind. He loves his art and is constantly developing new designs.
