I-Hos Gallery Shipping Policy

Changes

We may update this shipping policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

During Postal Strike

I-Hos Gallery will ship via UPS during the Canada Post strike.

We will choose the service that most closely matches the Canada Post option you select at checkout.

Certain rural locations within Canada, as well as international destinations, may not be serviced by UPS. We will contact you to make alternate arrangements in this case.

In-Store Pickup

Online orders can be picked up for free in store at 3310 Comox Road Courtenay BC during regular store hours. We do ask for ID when orders are picked up. If you would like someone else to pick up your order let us know ahead of time.

Shipping Costs & Times 

Online orders will be shipped out through Canada Post (or UPS) within three business days of the order being placed. 

When checking out different shipping options and rates will appear please read them carefully in order to pick which is the right one for you some options have a guaranteed delivery date and tracking others do not. They are offered through Canada Post and are based on the weight of the items in your order and the distance it needs to travel.

If you select a flat rate shipping option we may use UPS or Canada Post whichever is closest to what was paid for shipping. Flat rate options do not have a guaranteed delivery date and are not recommended if you have a deadline. 

Tracking your Order

When we ship your order a notification email will be sent automatically with a tracking number if available some of the more affordable shipping options do not include tracking. Small Packet Air and Small Packet Surface do not include tracking

Courier

Occasionally an order will be cheaper and faster to send with a local(Vancouver Island) courier service especially if it is a larger order with heavy or bulky items. If we think this is advisable we will contact you if you are interested in this instead of Canada Post please contact the gallery before you place your order but after your chosen items are in your cart and ready to be checked out.
