Bear House Knits is an Indigenous-owned small business specializing in hand-dyed yarn and knitting accessories. The owner and dyer behind Bear House Knits, Ashley, comes from a long line of skilled knitters. Both her grandmother and great-grandmother were respected knitters within the K’ómoks First Nation, and she proudly carries on their legacy. Through her work, she honours their legacy and the traditions they passed down.

Each skein of yarn is carefully hand-dyed in small batches on her home territory, with colorways inspired by nature and the beauty of everyday life. Bear House Knits is more than a yarn brand — it’s a celebration of tradition, creativity, and Indigenous resilience.
