Tshirt - Land Back
“As long as the sun shines, the grass grows, and the river flows” - Alexander Morris
The commissioner of Treaty 6 used this promise. It indicates the everlasting nature of the treaty between the Indigenous and the crown, as it depicted the “spiritual aspects” of a bond that couldn't be broken.
For us "Land Back" means the redistribution of wealth, land, and resources, but not in a colonial context, in an Indigenous one. Moreover, an Indigenous worldview calls for equality, self-determination, interconnectedness, and respect for Mama Aki (Mother Earth). Written by Sean Rayland.

Founded in 2018, Red Rebel Armour is an Indigenous-led social enterprise using its streetwear brand to fund its employment service which provides on-the-job paid training in a culturally safe work environment for our relatives returning back to the community from the criminal justice system.
In addition to providing employment, they have incorporated Indigenous ways of knowing throughout the organization. This means they reshaped their workplace to incorporate an Indigenous worldview in everything they do. ❤️
