The Blue Moon necklace was hand-carved and painted by Cla-o-qui-aht artist, Wilson George. The cordage is made from sinew.

Hello, my name is Chii-Niahtt George, my English name is Wilson A. George. I am a First Nations carver from the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation on central Vancouver Island. Since 1993, I have been carving and enhancing my craft. I specialize in mask carving and have expanded my talents into painting and totem carving.
