This beautiful Salmon yellow cedar plaque is hand carved and painted by Coast Salish First Nation artist Alfred Crocker. The eye of the salmon are accented with Abalone.
Salmon is seen as the giver of life, salmon represents prosperity and new beginnings.
Abalone healing carries energies of protection and emotional balance. It brings with it a natural shielding that blesses the person holding it with tranquility.

About The Artist
Alfred was born in 1950, and is from Chemainus BC. He started carving in 1991 and was instructed by Tommy Paul, who is also his inspriration.
