The Seagull has always been a misunderstood creature. Mainly known as a scavenger and pest, he does hold a standing amongst some tribes alone the northwest coast. He lets us know when various fishing harvesting are about to happen. Like when herring and mainly the eulachon, our source for Tlina, eulachon oil, are coming to our territory.
