Earrings - Bird with Dentalium (Sky Blue accents)

These shoulder duster earrings were handmade by Tahltan artist Mariah Andrews.

These earrings feature dentalium and birds made out of bone. This pair is accented with blue glass bead and small freshwater pearls.

Dentalium shells have been used by many indigenous nations for jewelry, clothing and trading.
