Dangle Earrings - Birds with Dentalium

These long dangle earrings were handmade by Tahltan artist Mariah Andrews.

These earrings feature dentalium and birds made out of mother of pearl. This pair is accented with freshwater pearls.

Dentalium shells have been used by many indigenous nations for jewelry, clothing and trading.
