Coffee - Respect - Medium/Dark Roast
The Manaaji'idiwin or Respect medium-dark roast coffee is made by Turtle Island Coffee, an Indigenous owned and operated coffee roastery that is the first to present Indigenous art from across Turtle Island. Each piece is presented to represent one of the teachings from each of the 4 sectors of the medicine wheel.
Their coffees are roasted and packaged on the unceded territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples.
They roast single origin coffees, all grown on Turtle Island, and they roast these coffees to 4 different roast levels: light-medium, medium, medium dark, and dark roast. They select single origins that work best at these different roast levels, to help provide a coffee for all coffee lovers.
Head roaster, Muskwasis (David Cardinal), of Cree origin (Bigstone Cree nation), has over 10 years experience roasting coffee and wishes to share the love of coffee with peoples across Turtle Island.
