Art Card - Comox Potlatch II
This painting is an impression of a potlatch artist Neil Howell was honoured to attend in the Kumugwe Cultural Bighouse. It includes chiefs that were in attendance, as well as the door pole (wolf) and a few masks that are used in the rituals, such as the Tsonokwa (wild man) the Kwi Kwi (the good guy) and the Snot Nose (the court jester). It also includes Wedlidi Speck (cannibal man) as Hamatsa.
