Description
The Hummingbird plaque was hand-carved and painted by Nanoose artist, Brian Bob. It is made out of cedar with either abalone or paua shell inlays in the lime green and stained version.
The Hummingbird brings comfort, beauty, and love to those in their life. They are also considered to be bringers of good luck and fortune.

Brian Bob is a member of the Nuu-chah-nulth (Nootka) First Nation on Vancouver Island. His given name is Qquyutsapool which means "Policer of the wolves". Brian is known for his wood creations, truly keeping the tradition of his peoples in mind. He loves his art and is constantly developing new designs.
