Plaque - Crooked Beak

This stunning plaque was hand carved out of two inch thick cedar and painted with acrylics by Port Hardy Kwakwaka’wakw artist Joe Johnny. It has a cord loop on the back for easy wall hanging.

The crooked beak sometimes called the crooked beak of heaven symbolizes one of the supernatural bird associates of Baxwbakwalanukwisw' a cannibal spirit.
