Young Dancers at the Pow Wow - This painting is done of a child at a Pow Wow which Neil Howell attended in Mission, BC. Neil attended all the Pow Wows he possibly could. Indigenous people from all over the continent are well represented at the Mission Pow Wows. Since all the tribes tend to dress in contemporary dress, it is impossible to determine which tribe this child is from.

Comox Potlatch II - This painting is an impression of a potlatch artist Neil Howell was honoured to attend in the Kumugwe Cultural Bighouse. It includes chiefs that were in attendance, as well as the door pole (wolf) and a few masks that are used in the rituals, such as the Tsonokwa (wild man) the Kwi Kwi (the good guy) and the Snot Nose (the court jester). It also includes Wedlidi Speck (cannibal man) as Hamatsa.
