Willie Hawkins

Willie Hawkins is from the Kwakwaka'wakw people and he comes from Kingcome Inlet. Willie was born in Alert Bay in 1958, but grew up in Kingcome Inlet. He was inspired by his brother Beau Dick, the culture and art.

In the year of 2000, Willie was honored to work with his brother beau on the house posts and crossbeam for the new longhoouse in Kingcome Inlet.

Willie lives in Naniamo with his family for the past 15 years. And Willie has done ceremonial pieces for Potlatches.
