Wesley Walkus
Wesley Walkus is of the Kwakwaka’wakw people (Gwa’sala-‘Nakwaxda’xw Nation). He comes from a family of carvers: his great grandfather Charlie G. Walkus, and Grandfather John Walkus. Wesley was born and raised on north Vancouver Island, in the small town of Port Hardy , BC. He has been a carver for 10 years and an avid tool maker for eight. He specializes in masks, carving knives, and adzes.
