Tanisha Frank-Pielle from Sechelt Band. Tanisha’s Mom is Sechelt and K'omoks First Nation and her Dad is from Homalco First Nation. Tanisha harvests her own cedar and does it in the highest, respectful, and traditional manner possible. Tanisha started weaving at the young age of 7 years old, helping her mother with harvesting and workshops.
Significance of the Cedar Rose: Can be found in lots of territories where cedar is used. Cedar is sacred and so is the rose.
