Talon Geroge

I was born in Nanaimo BC and grew up in Port Hardy BC, Where I was raised close by my culture with the guidance of my uncle Walter George. Through him I have learned singing, dancing, ceremonial practices and carving/painting. 

In 2019, I began working with artists and carvers from Campbell River- Bill Henderson, Junior Henderson, Greg Henderson, Jonathan Henderson on the house posts and cross beams for our Gwa’sala ‘Nakwaxda’wx big house, under apprenticeship. In 2023 I began working with artist and carvers, Wayne and Bruce Alfred, Aubrey Johnson Jr, on a pole for the Alfred family.
