I am a Namgis Elder, residing in Courtenay, BC.
I forage for our Devil's Club; locally collecting and stripping the outer bark. I then prepare the bark by cutting and sanding for the jewelry. Each piece is made by hand giving each piece a unique look of their own. No two pieces are alike.
