The Killer Whale
The Killer Whale is used as a family crest by tribes all along the west coast. Known to be pack hunters like wolves they are highly intelligent and very precise in their hunting. Also known to be social mammals, they travel in pods all up and down the coasts of North and South America.
The Wolf
A prominent family crest throughout the tribes of the northwest coast. A figure of many legends and stories, the wolf symbolizes family unity, strength, and proper teaching in the clan. Wolves, like Killer Whales, are highly intelligent, and excellent hunters. All are looked after by the alpha wolf who makes the decisions where to roam and hunt.
