Megan McCool is an Ojibwe/Metis artist based out of the Comox Valley, with roots in Saskatchewan. She mainly focuses her style of artwork on the themes that she has learned from her culture. Being Ojibwe/Metis, she has embraced how unique the designs are from much of the work she has seen growing up. Still young at only 20 years old, Megan has had paintings in gallery showings since the age of 12. She specializes in 2D art whether that be on canvas or other media. From an early age her grandpa encouraged her and saw her talent and skill the most. Had it not been for him along with his teachings and lessons, Megan believes she would not be where she is today.
