Orca Pod with Moon "Generations" is a collaborative piece with Coast Salish artist, Joe Wilson (Sxwaset) and Ruggid Coast's, Jerrod Pinder. Made on Vancouver Island out of 16 gauge stainless steel.
The Moon is a protector and guardian of the people. Moon spirit watches over us and can change the way we feel.
The Whale is a symbol of great strength, bravery, family and unity.

Joe Wilson was born in 1967 into the Cowichan Tribes Native Band and was raised in Duncan, British Columbia, Canada. Since 1984 his work has reflected his search for his own cultural identity in Coast Salish art.
