Hummingbird Heart
The hummingbird is a messenger of joy and resilience - a creature that thrives through community and balance, reminding us that strength is found in working together.
The plants carry a personal meaning for me. They are a connection to the forest trails I walked and played in throughout my childhood. Wild rose, bleeding heart, and salmonberry are more than just plants - they are teachers and memories of place, family, and growth.
The heart shape of this design reflects love, remembrance, and the importance of protecting our children, families, and communities. It speaks to healing, balance, and the interconnection of all living things.
This artwork is a tribute to resilience, memory, and care for future generations.
