This stunning cedar plaque is hand carved and hand painted by Northwest Coast First Nation artist Alfred Crocker. This plaque features the Orca with a Salmon in the stomach a Raven on the flipper and an Eagle on the dorsal fin.

The whale is a symbol of great strength, bravery, family and unity.

Salmon is seen as the giver of life, salmon represents prosperity and new beginnings.

Ravens are creatures whose curiosity often gets the best of them. Raven is responsible for putting the sun, moon and stars into the sky. Also symbols of prestige and knowledge.

The eagle is seen as a loyal animal who mates for life and are often seen as symbols of peace and friendship.
