Pendant - Sea Monster (Sterling Silver with Labradorite)

This gorgeous sterling silver Eagle pendant is hand carved and crafted by Kwakwaka'wakw First Nation artist Chis Cook III. The middle of the pendant and bezel are presented with semi-precious stone Onyx. 

Sea Monsters capable of arouing storms, waves, and dangerous whirlpools and danced as part of the Winter Ceremony. His dance is characterized by movements, which initiate a Sea Mammal sounding, then surfacing and breathing.

Labradorite symbolizes communication, balance and focus.
