Micqaela grew up on the Duck Valley Indian Reservation of the Shoshone and Paiute Nations. As a young adult, Miqaela began painting and showing her art at various art shows around the country. Today, Micqaela continues to work on new ideas, new paintings and new techniques. Her work has evolved into an intertwining of her Shoshone culture along with contemporary expressions, resulting in colorful vivid paintings.
