Earrings - Nootka Rose (Sterling Silver)

This gorgeous Sterling Silver Nootka Rose earrings were hand carved by Kwakwaka'wakw First Nation artist Agnes Seaweed Wisden. The design features a Nootka Rose, the Nootka species is from the Nootka Sound of Vancouver Island. 

The Nootka Rose is a beautiful pink rose that grow abundantly throughout Vancouver Island. It was used in many indigenous foods and medicines, and is still used today in for teas and other medicinal purposes.
