Cotton Tapestry - Haida Bentwood Box
Artist: Kanata Blanket Co.
Kanata presents the Haida Bentwood Box Cotton Tapestry throw from K'aalts'idaa K'ah of the 'Great Box Considered' by Gwaai and Jaalen Edenshaw.
This fringed cotton throw is woven with an intricate design by K'aalts'idaa K'ah. The Haida Bentwood Box design represents The Great Box Considered, a contemporary recreation by the brothers Jaalen and Gwaai Edenshaw as an effort to understand the work of an unnamed 19th-century Haida Master artist. The rediscovery and exploration of this Box brings the knowledge held in its four walls back home where the box will be used.
This beautiful cotton throw is perfect for bringing a touch of Native culture into your home. Add to the bedroom or study to create a relaxed and urban stylish atmosphere.
