Ditidaht First Nation artist Russell Tate hand carved and painted this incredible Warrior Woman mask. This mask is accented beautifully with remi human hair, cedar strands and acrylic paint.
This masks represents a Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Warrior. A red handprint, painted across the mouth, is a symbol that is used to indicate solidarity with missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls in North America.
