Cedar woven Maquinna Hat

The weavers of the Nuu-chah-nulth Nation produce some of the finest and most delicately woven hats and baskets. This hat is known as a Maquinna hat and was worn by high ranking chiefs and whalers only.
Woven out of red cedar with dyed bark depicting whalers in canoe, whale and sea birds. Height 10" Diameter 12"
