Cedar Baby Cradle - Wolf & Eagle
This cedar baby cradle was hand carved by Comox artist Randy Frank. It is the perfect gift for a family with a new addition. The front and back of the cradle have hand carved designs of a wolf, which is depicted as the protector and associated with family in First Nations symbolism. The designs on the sides are of eagles, which are the symbol of peace and friendship. This gift is one that can be passed on throughout the generations.
This cradle is made from 1-inch-thick western red cedar planks.
Randy Frank was born in the Comox Valley in 1974 with ancestors from both Comox and Sechelt. Randy began sketching and drawing designs at an early age, expanding his talents after graduation.
