8" Bentwood Box - Orca with Baby

This unique authentic Whale bentwood box is handcrafted, and hand painted by Squamish First Nation artist Peter Wayne Gong. This box is handmade from Red and Yellow Cedar.

Whale is a symbol of great strength, bravery, family and unity.

Bentwood boxes we made to hold history, store regalia and other treasured items. These boxes of treasure help preserve ancestor's legacies. Traditional boxes are steamed and bent Red Cedar.
