Join us for a cultural experience in our traditional Northwest Coast Big House. We offer cultural teachings, sharing, storytelling, and interactive activities, as well as a traditional Northwest Coast Dance presentation performed by our very own Kumugwe Dance Troupe in their full regalia. Kumugwe perform dances such as the Ladies dance, the Peace dance, and mask dances such as the Grizzly Bear dance, the Transformation dance, the Wolf dance, and many more. All performances are accompanied by our traditional drummers and singers. Our cultural presentations are about one hour long, and are available in the evenings and on the weekends. Please contact us to discuss the fee for our cultural presentation which includes entrance for up to 300 guests in our ceremonial Big House.
Our facilities include a spacious gymnasium that comfortably holds 175 people for a sit down meal, and a fully equipped, Island Health Certified commercial kitchen available for your catering needs. Please contact us for rates and information on catering options for traditional First Nations cuisine. The gymnasium is located steps away from our Big House, and is equipped with washroom facilities and is wheelchair accessible. Feel free to contact us with any questions about what else we have to offer.
We have space available for a 50 passenger bus, and washroom facilities are available within our facilities for guest use.
