Small Woven Basket - Seabirds (Purple)

The weavers of the Nuu-chah-nulth Nation produce some of the finest and most delicately woven pieces from split cedar bark and swamp grass. The bark and grasses are harvested, soaked and split to create baskets, hats, trays and more.

This basket has the seabird design.

The grass is dyed and woven to depict seabirds in purple with a green border.
