Bentwood boxes were made to hold history, store regalia and other treasured items. These boxes of treasure help preserve ancestors' legacies. Another distinguishing aspect is their construction - traditionally they were steamed then bent. The body of the container is constructed using only a single piece of West Coast cedar.
