Richie Brown is a member of the Coast Salish people. He is a resident of Nanaimo, which is on the East Coast of Vancouver Island. Richie comes from the Brown family; father Noel Brown. Richie has been around arts and culture since a young boy with his Father Noel Brown and his Uncles Matthew Baker and Richard Baker. Lewis and Craig Manson.
With such a strong artistic background, Richie has been interested in art all his life. You can currently find Richie assisting Noel Brown on his totem pole for the Snuneymuxw Village at Nanaimo Waterfront.
