Rattle - Wolf With Crescent Moon Stand
This stunning Wolf rattle is hand crafted and hand painted by Squamish First Nation artist Peter Wayne Gong. The eye of the Wolf is accented with abalone. The rattle has a stand that has the crescent moon painted on it. and the rattle handle is wrapped beautifully with black cord.
The Wolf is often seen as the protector. They always travel in packs and have strong family ties.
The Moon is a protector and guardian of the people. Moon spirit watches over us and can change the way we feel.
Rattles or shakers are an instrument that is used in sweat lodge and healing ceremonies, community songs or a moment of reflection and connection on a walkabout or journey.
