Mask - Ridicule
This spectacular Ridicule mask was hand carved by First Nations artist Kenny S. Puglas. Kenny has been designing and carving Dzawwada'enuxw art for about 15 years.
Ridicule masks are used for conflict resolution and accountability: they are created when two parties are having a disagreement. The mask is placed in the Feast Hall, and remains on display until there is an apology or restitution, upon which the mask is burned.
